Austin, Texas

Through Clemson’s Brand Communications program, I got the chance to go on an industry trip to Austin, TX. This trip marked my first time in Texas, but it definitely won’t be my last.

Passion Projects

AI Makerspace Club (AIM)

Through Cadency and AIM, I’ve dived into the world of AI. With new platforms and versions coming out everyday, it’s key to stay on top of emerging companies and their competitors. Working on these projects has strengthened my critical thinking and well as my ability to understand AI.

Through Cadency, I’ve had the opportunity to spearhead a project for our client that creates and analyzes social media content. Read all about it here.

Customer Experience (CX)

Customer experience is crucial as it drives customer loyalty and sustainable growth. I had the opportunity to participate in a Global Service Jam that allowed me to expand my skills in CX.

Chi Omega Fraternity

When I went through recruitment Freshman year, I knew I wanted to be more than just a member of my sorority. I wanted to grow and lead.

Over the past few years, I’ve held three leadership positions that have allowed me to grow in different ways. As Intramural Chair, I coordinated intramural sports for my whole chapter and created teams with other Greek Organizations. As someone who loves all things sports, this was a position I was passionate about, and a great starting point in my leadership journey.

Every Spring & Summer during college I served as a Recruitment Assistant. I assisted in planning and executing all things recruitment. From spring workshops, summer meetings, early morning decorations, social media content, you name it. I loved seeing the ins and outs of the recruitment process and learned so much about organization and programming.

After serving as assistant, I became my chapter’s Continuous-Open-Bidding (COB) Chair. COB can run in both the fall and spring depending on new member class numbers. Through this position, I spearhead all COB efforts such as coordinating all meetings, events, communication.

Work Experience

Cadency, Clemson’s Student-led Brand Consulting Firm

Cadency has opened my eyes to opportunities I did not think were possible for myself. I started as a Brand Strategist & Copywriter on the Tanger account. We created innovative solutions to their real business challenges. Tackling this problem head on, we developed a multi-channel marketing campaign to increase brand consideration and awareness. I took charge in creating the copy for that campaign, ensuring it can be translated to fully integrated marketing campaigns. At the end of the semester, I got to present our work to Tanger CEO, Stephen Yolof, and Media Director, Devin Ostermann.

In my second semester with Cadency, I transitioned into the Account Manager for the Tanger account. Currently, I serve as the liaison between our contacts at Tanger and our team of 8. This semester, we are building something from scratch and it has been so rewarding to see the growth in our work and my team. On top of our main project, we are juggling two “sprint” briefs. These briefs consist of side projects our team is responsible for completing before the semester’s conclusion. Of the two, I am leading the AI sprint.

United Concordia Dental

As a Communications & PR Undergraduate Intern, I learned the ins and outs of corporate communications. I was able to author a news release, design infographics, and edit an employee video. My main project was diving into United Concordia’s internal communication strategies to see how employees felt. I analyzed and organized over 70 slides of data that will be presented to our Vice President of Strategic Business Development.

Pearce Center for Professional Communication

The Pearce Center has played a huge role in the evolution of my writing, design, and video editing skills. For the past two semesters, I have lead a team while being an active member on two others. The highlights of this internship have been conducting interviews to be turned into articles and videos, writing newsletters, and creating social media content.

B3 Gym

As a media consultant, I created a multichannel communications strategy geared to raise awareness of B3. To do this, my team had to alter their tone of voice and key messaging strategies to engage a new audience. Partnering with local influencers and businesses was key in attracting new customers.

Lake Hartwell Country

Through this internship, I created newsletters intended to influence non-locals to visit any of Lake Hartwell Country’s three counties. A key task was auditing their website and app to make sure the information aligned, and I was tasked with making any changes that needed to be made. As a travel and tourism minor, I loved researching industry trends and implementing them into blog posts.

Interpersonal Violence Response

I was tasked with growing IVR’s social media presence and following by creating cohesive, engaging content. To achieve this, I developed multimedia initiatives to reach Clemson’s diverse audience. Additionally, I planned and executed on-campus events for students to enjoy.
