What is JAM…?

I’m so glad you asked! Before I participated, I had no idea what I was getting myself into.

So, #GSJam is a 48-hour event exploring customer experience (CX), service design, and design thinking. On our first night, we got to know each other and made paper boats. How does that relate to CX?

Our goal was to find a pain-point for the Greenville community and design a solution. My team, made up of people I had just met, interviewed community members, designed prototypes, and presented our ideas. All of this was within 48 hours.

With my team, I was exposed to new tools, methods, and mindsets while putting our skills to the test. Before JAM, I would not feel super comfortable interviewing someone on the street. Now, send them my way!

This experience pushed me out of my comfort zone and allowed me to grow as a design thinker. I loved tackling real-world challenges.

I made it my Jam.
